We all know that houseplants are great for us. They help purify the air, increase humidity, and can generally make us feel better. But did you know they can also be superheroes for the environment?

The world is in need of new Super Heroes. Or at least, that's what some people are saying. A new kind of hero needs to step up and help save the environment. But did you know that some of these same plants also have health benefits and they can be new Super Heroes for the environment. Houseplants are often seen as nuisances; often household plants are strategically placed for decoration and to maintain feng shui. The snake plant is one of those plants known for both looking good and improving air quality. A common houseplant, the Sansevieria trifasciata is native to Asia and Africa. It can be recognized by its evergreen sword-shaped leaves that grow upright and almost resemble artificial foliage. Snake plants are often used as home decor since they’re pleasing to the eye, are easy to care for, and require little water to survive.
